Our school is dedicated to promoting life-wide learning by organically integrating Project-based Learning and Reading Across the Curriculum (RaC) to construct diverse learning experiences for our students. We firmly believe that learning should not be confined to the classroom. Therefore, in alignment with the latest curriculum development guidelines from the Education Bureau, we have designed a series of integrated curricula spanning from Primary 1 to Primary 6. These programs link school resources with external communities to cultivate students' generic skills, national identity, and positive values.

1. Deep Integration of RaC and Project-based Learning Each grade level has a clear interdisciplinary theme that connects subjects such as Languages, Mathematics, Science (Humanities/Science), and Buddhist Education. For instance:

• Primary 1: Students explore the theme "Campus Magician" to learn about and cherish their school environment through reading.
• Primary 3: Centered on "Deep Dive into Hong Kong", students explore green ecology and butterfly conservation to raise environmental awareness.
• Primary 6: Focuses on "Environmental Protection", promoting a sustainable lifestyle to maintain the beauty and health of our planet.

2. Local Visits: Connecting Community and Nature To emphasize both theory and observation, we arrange targeted local field trips:

• Lower Primary: Students visit the Quarry Bay Tree Walk and nearby community facilities to strengthen their sense of belonging to their neighborhood.
• Middle Primary: Students head to Fu Kam Organic Dragon Fruit Farm to explore nature.
• Primary 4: Students tour Sai Ying Pun, Central, Sheung Wan, and Wan Chai to experience the charm of ancient architecture and community revitalization, learning to appreciate the efforts and contributions of predecessors.

3. Overseas Exchange: Broadening International Horizon and National Identity The school actively plans diverse overseas study tours to allow students to learn in authentic contexts:

• Primary 4: A trip to National Geographic Explorer Center in Hengqin and Zhuhai offers a journey of discovery.
• Primary 5: An exploration of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Guangzhou enhances understanding of national culture.
• Primary 6: A Sister School Exchange Trip to Nanjing combined with a Graduation Trip deepens national identity and peer friendships.

Through these wide-ranging and in-depth life-wide learning activities, Kornhill students step out from their reading into the real world. By practicing compassion and wisdom, they are fully equipped to meet the challenges of the future.
