Traversing Mainland and Australia: Expanding Horizons through Experiential Learning
Buddhist Chung Wah Kornhill Primary School (BCWKPS) is dedicated to nurturing students with a vision that is "Rooted in Hong Kong, Backed by the Motherland, and Connected to the World." In alignment with the Education Bureau’s latest guidelines on "Life-wide Learning" and "National Education," we extend learning beyond the traditional classroom, leading our students from the vibrant cities of the Mainland to international destinations.
Our cross-border exchange programs are uniquely tailored to our school-based curriculum. We organize STEAM and Innovation Tours to Melbourne, Australia, where students engage in classroom exchanges to ignite their creativity and global perspectives. Closer to home, our "Buddhist Moral and National Condition Study Tours" and grade-specific expeditions—such as the Primary 4 Hengqin exploration, Primary 5 Guangzhou Cultural Heritage trip, and Primary 6 Nanjing Sister School exchange—enable students to appreciate the profundity of Chinese culture and strengthen their sense of national identity.
We prioritize the holistic development of every child. These journeys are not merely educational trips but transformative experiences for the mind and character. Under the professional and nurturing guidance of our teachers, students learn independence, inclusivity, and gratitude. We invite parents to join us in empowering our children to transcend boundaries, grow through experience, and become future citizens embodied with "Compassion and Wisdom."
