【Warm Transition: The P1 Hand-in-Hand Journey】 For Primary 1 students, we start with basic stroke orders and character structures, paired with vivid picture books to ease the transition from kindergarten and foster a warm atmosphere for their first steps in language learning.
【School-based Classical Poetry: A Dialogue Across Time】 We have systematically integrated a school-based classical Chinese curriculum across Primary 1 to 6. In alignment with The Education University of Hong Kong's 'Jockey Club Animated Classical Chinese for Curious Minds Project,' we enable children to go beyond rote memorization. Under the guidance of our teachers, students can travel through time, engage in dialogues with ancient sages, and truly appreciate the beauty of literature.
【Kornhill Mini-Stage: Showcasing Confidence】 We created the "Kornhill Mini-Stage" and "Kornhill TV Station" to encourage students to participate in program production, keynote speeches, or storytelling. The sense of achievement a child feels seeing themselves express ideas confidently on screen is irreplaceable.
【Enriching Experiences: Living Chinese Culture】 We regularly host 'Chinese Culture Learning Days' and collaborate with the Visual Arts department on traditional arts workshops, alongside our 'Cha Duk Chang' Cantonese Opera classes. Through these hands-on, immersive experiences, students connect deeply with traditional culture. Culture is no longer just rigid knowledge in a textbook, but a warm affection cherished in our children's hearts.
